The Zane TI is a serious fly reel! Just listen to what goes into the manufacturing process: Crafted from solid titanium- six man days of machining are required to form just the cage and spool - during the manufacturing process the incredible strength of the titanium even takes its toll on the machines used to carve it. Titanium has the ability to 'self-heal' - so if the Zane TI is scratched, the surface oxidises on contact with the atmosphere, sealing the scratch and preventing corrosion.
