Guideline backing is superb. coming in two different types: Micron and Micra.

Guideline Micron Backing

Thin and strong backing of highest quality. MICRON is a mixed Dacron/ multifilament line, that is low stretch and saltwater resistant. It is also very resistant to sunlight, oils and many different chemicals. MICRON is available in 20, 30 and 50 Ibs strength and a variety of lengths.

Guideline Micra Backing

A super strong backing produced from Spectra multifilament fibers. MICRA is incredibly tough and thin, it will add 50-60% more backing on your reel, in comparison to traditional backing. MICRA is available in 20Ibs and 35Ibs strengths and in 3 different lengths.
